Ibiza, Spain

Overview

If you like partying, beaches, and five star accommodations then this Mediterranean gem is the perfect European vacation destination for you.

Probably best known for its almost non-stop nightlife, with some of the hottest clubs and best DJs from across the globe, Ibiza also has a multitude of beautiful 5-star hotels and relaxing resorts.  And with an average of 300 clear-sky days a year, this Spanish island is all but paradise to the sun worshipers of the world.

Sites to See

There is not much traditional site-seeing to be done in Ibiza, as most of the island revolves around tourism and the accompanying party scene.

The main things that you are likely to see are stunning 5-star hotels such as the Ibiza Gran Hotel, many magnificent beaches (more than 50 in total), and some of the most renowned nightclubs in the world including Privilege, Space, Amnesia and Es Paradis.

Culture

While tanning is the main activity by day and partying rules the night, there are other things to do when you visit Ibiza.

The historic center of Ibiza City on the South side of the island is classified as a UNESCO protected site, as is "God's Finger" in the Benirràs Bay. Each of these sites is certainly worth a visit.

You can also visit The Egg in San Antoni, a monument erected in memory of Christopher Columbus whom many believe was born in Ibiza.

Casinos in Ibiza

For those who enjoy a little gambling action while on vacation, try the Casino de Ibiza in the Gran Hotel.  It has a gaming room with American roulette, blackjack, Caribbean poker and Punto Banco, as well as a separate slot machines room.
