While casino gambling is definitely a highlight of any visit to Monaco, there are also other things to see and do here.  For a taste of culture, there are a number of museums and galleries you can visit including the Museum of Prehistoric Anthropology, the Oceanographic Museum, and the Prince of Monaco’s vintage car collection.


For those interested in the majestic life, you can also take a walk on the ramp around the royal residence, or visit the palace itself.

A major draw since 1929, the annual Monaco Grand Prix is one of the most prestigious car races with one of the most demanding Formula One tracks in the world.

The stunning Monte Carlo Casino is probably the best-known tourist attraction in Monaco, and one of the best casinos in the world. Built by Charles Garnier, the architect who created the Paris Opéra, this magnificent structure holds the Grand Théâtre de Monte Carlo, an opera house and the Ballets de Monte Carlo headquarters.
