Greecehas produced famous people in a wide range of areas from the ancient world to the modern day.  Aristotle and Plato, the forefathers of philosophy, were proud Greeks.  More recent famous Greeks include Aristotle Onassis, the shipping tycoon, Jennifer Aniston, the actress from Friends and Maria Callas, the famous opera singer.
